Development of Bar Hill Children's Playground

Following discussions at the last Parish Council meeting myself (and other Councillors) have picked up the task of looking to see what is available to improve the children's play facilities in Bar Hill.

As a County Councillor for King's Hedges in the City, and the father of 3 and 1-year old children I understand the important of play areas for younger children and the many different options available to improve the facilities in Bar Hill.

But rather than designing something that Hayden and Aaron would be happy with what do you want? What do you think the people of Bar Hill would gain the most benefit from?

Here are a couple of examples of, relatively, cheap features at a playground in Honiton, Devon I've been to with my sister and her children.

This decision shouldn't just be left to Parish Councillors, it's something the whole community should have an input to - we will, after all, be spending everyone's Parish Precept on the changes! - please let the Parish Council know what you think.

If you have comments leave them here, email them to me directly (andy.pellew@gmail.com) or you can pass them on directly to the Parish Clerk - details on the website http://www.barhillpc.org.uk/home.html

This is *your* money; let us know how you would like to spend it.
