E-Cops - Weekly Update

I hope you enjoyed the time off work during Jubilee celebrations.

Whilst I have been out and about on my patrols in Bar Hill, I have come across a group of local youths up the Skate Park behaving suspiciously. I have dealt with them accordingly.

On Tuesday, 5th June at 02:30 there was a report of theft in Watermead, Bar Hill. Two men were seen to pick up plant pots from a front garden of a property in the area. The house occupant heard noises of men in his front garden; he got up and saw them taking his plants. He immediately shouted out after them, they put the pots down and then ran away. Pots were recovered undamaged.

On Friday, 8th June at 18:00 and Saturday, 9th June at 09:00 there was a crime report of criminal damage to a vehicle parked in Tesco Carpark, Bar Hill outside the Haart and Fish and Chicken take away shop. Unknown offender(s) have caused criminal damage to a vehicle parked at the location by smashing both the wing mirrors and the offside front window. If you were in the area at the time when this happened, please get in touch.

On Monday, 4th June there was a report of three suspicious men in Oakington Road, Dry Drayton. Police located these men soon after the incident was reported, and stop searched them. All were found to be in order, no offences revealed.

If you wish to report any other crime, suspicious behaviour or activity please ring our non-emergency number, 101. If you believe that a crime is in progress please ring 999. I also welcome anyone to contact me directly by emailingbujar.mani@cambs.pnn.police.uk if you wish to let me know of any issues you may be experiencing.
