E-Cops - Rave Awareness

August bank holiday is approaching fast and has traditionally been a favourite time for Rave's. The South Cambs region has had three raves in 4 months. Due to our rural landscape / location South Cambs is ideal for another visit.

Police will be patrolling our country side in a proactive approach in preventing such illegal events setting up over the holiday period and ask the community for their assistance too. Please call the police if you see any Rave associated, suspicious activity for example: Gates & padlocks removed or cropped, suspicious or out of place individuals near said gates, barns or fields. Unusual or an increase in traffic movements, vehicles accumulating at service stations & social networking rumours.

The impact on the community and demands on Police resources are significant and with the Police and Community working together to prevent a Rave before they set up is important and sends a message out to the organisers that this illegal activity is unacceptable.

To contact Police:
In an emergency always call 999
For all non-emergencies call 101

To give information anonymously
about crime. Call 0800 555 111

Thank you for your continued support.
