E-Cops Regular Update

A burglary took place in St.Neots Road in Dry Drayton on the 8th August between 8am and 6pm. Offender(s) gained access by forcing entry via the rear patio doors and carried out a untidy search. Jewellery and a camera was taken.

On the 9th August, a suspicious man was spotted out by an off duty officer in Bar Hill Tesco. After the enquiries were completed with the man he was free to go, however his vehicle which was parked at the Fox Pub car park was seized under police powers for having no insurance cover.

During the day on the 8th August, two suspects were detained for shoplifting at Tesco Store, Bar Hill. Suspects were captured on CCTV selecting various items from the store, removing tags and concealing the items, then attempting to leave the store without paying. Both offenders were dealt with accordingly.

There has been an increase in business burglaries in the surrounding villages. A silver Mondeo saloon has potentially been involved. Please report any suspicious behaviour which you think may be connected to these crimes or if you have any information which you may feel would be useful.
