E-Cops - Businesses Warned After Break-Ins

I’m urging residents and businesses in South Cambridgeshire to be vigilant after three burglaries occurred on Saturday night (September 8) in Hardwick.

Offenders broke into a parade of shops along St Neots Road at just after 11.30pm.

The Madeline florists and the Ash Croft Veterinary Surgery had their front windows smashed and had money stolen while the burglars attempted to smash the window at the Hair Care Bunch but were unsuccessful.

Detectives are linking the burglaries and urging people to be vigilant and report anything suspicious.

We are linking the burglaries and would urge anyone with information about these break-ins, or knows who may be responsible, to contact police.

At a couple of the premises windows were smashed so I would appeal to local residents who may have heard something on Saturday night.

We have received great support from local businesses and residents in Hardwick who have provided CCTV footage and other information which is helping our investigation.

Anyone with any information about the burglaries should call myself, DC Bates on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

Kind Regards
Detective Constable Andy Bates
