Courses Prove Popular With Adult Learners

Over 1000 adult learners enrolled on new courses in Cambridgeshire last week.

Cambridgeshire County Council coordinates a wide range of day and evening classes for adults in centres across the county.

All courses are listed on, which last month saw its busiest month with 40,000 unique visitors to the site.

Cambridgeshire County Council's Cabinet Member for Learning, Councillor David Harty said "Improving skills levels is a vital part of maintaining and developing the competitive position of Cambridgeshire in the global economy. These courses are a vital contribution towards this and the figures from last week are very encouraging.
