Public exhibition for Darwin Green Two (NIAB)

Darwin Green (aka NIAB) North West Cambridge Development

An outline planning application for the Darwin Green Two site is being put together by Barratt Homes and the NW Cambridge Consortium of land owners. They will be holding public exhibitions on these proposals over the coming months. The next one is on 15th March.

At the exhibition residents will be able to view and discuss the proposals with members of the project team. Barratt Homes state that they are keen to have your involvement and hopes to be able to incorporate your feedback into its formal plans.

You are welcome to drop in at any time between 3pm and 7:30pm at the Cotton Hall, Girton, CB3 0NP.

If you are unable to attend but would like more information, the display material will be added to the project website here:

Alternatively, you can call the project information line on 0800 148 8911.

Cllr Belinda Brooks-Gordon says:

“These proposals have important implications for us all and it is important that Castle residents’ voices are heard. I would urge all residents to come to the exhibition and have their say.”

Local Bar Hill Parish Councillor Andy Pellew added:

"The expansion of Cambridge to the North West is an opportunity not to be missed. Improvements to public transport, cycling, as well as developing new local amenities are key to making this development a success both for those living in it as well as those in the surrounding area who can make sure of the existing new facilities."

"Information on upcoming consultation events is available on the website (direct link here). I would encourage as many local residents as possible to put forward their views by either attending the events or providing feedback directly;
