Urban Festival: Wednesday 21 August: 1 – 6pm, Jesus Green, Cambridge

Following the great success of the first Cambridge Urban Festival, held on the 1 November 2012 in the Grafton Centre Car Park, Cambridge City Council will be holding Urban Festival 2, based around the Skate Park at Jesus Green on Wednesday 21 August.

Running from 1 – 6pm, the event will see the return of some of the popular activities from last year plus some exciting new activities for young people to have a go at.

The Skate Park will play host to Skateboard, BMX, Scooter and In-line Skate competitions – Organised by Billy’s Bike Shop.

It will see the return of:
  • Trumpington Boxing Club, running have-a-go training sessions
  • SIN Cru – Street Dance Workshops
  • Graffiti Workshops by Blight Society
New this year:
  • Ultimate Frisbee – run by Strange Blue
  • Climbing Wall – with Highline Adventures
  • Mountain Bike Pump Track – provided by Allbikedup and generously sponsored by the Grafton Centre
  • Hula Hooping Workshops – with Siana Chalkley-Robinson
All activities are free of charge.
