Comberton Residents Head To The Polls To Elect District Councillor

Residents in Comberton are being reminded to vote this Thursday (21 November) as the village heads to the polls to elect a new district councillor. 

A by-election was called for the seat on South Cambridgeshire District Council after the local member, Stephen Harangozo, stood down. 

The polling station at the Baptist Church Centre, Green End, will be open from 7am to 10pm. 

Anyone with a postal vote is also being urged to act quickly and return their ballot paper. The paper must be received by the Council’s elections team before polls close, but can be returned to the polling station on the day. 

The candidates for the seat are: 
  • Fay Louise Boissieux – Liberal Democrat 
  • Helen Mary Haugh – Labour Party Candidate 
  • Tim Scott – The Conservative Party Candidate 
  • Elizabeth Smith – UK Independence Party (UK I P)
