eCops: Update On Recent Crime 23/04/2014

Please can you be aware of the following crime reports.

On April the 18th, between 1630 and 1700hrs, a distraction burglary took place in Appletrees, Bar Hill. A male offender has knocked on a resident’s door stating that his ball has gone over to her rear garden. Occupant left the man standing at the door step leaving the door open and went looking for the ball but was unable to locate it and has returned to invite the male in through her property to the rear garden to look for himself.  The following morning occupant has found that her handbag was missing.

This male was described as, white, 5’’8 tall, stocky build, short dark brown hair, clean shaven, spoke with a local accent, was wearing dark clothing and possibly and anorak jacket. If you have any information regarding this report, please call 101 quoting crime reference number: CF0142530414

Incident number CC-22042014-0572 Ermine Street South, Papworth Everard, The informant has stopped 3 males stealing a bike from the side of his property. He has challenged them and they have given the bike back.

Incident number CC-22042014-0576 Haymans Way, Papworth, Informant calls in stating person(s) have thrown a brick through his patio window. No entry gained. Informant has heard males laughing. This occurred on the 22/04/2014.

Incident number CC-22042014-0571, High Street, Knapwell. On the 22/04/2014 a home Owner has returned home to find the kitchen door jemmied, untidy search with electrical goods and a ukulele stolen. Annex/studio in the garden has also been entered. Glass in the door smashed with a brick or slab off cut.

Incident number CC-22042014-0616 High Street, Knapwell. On the 22/04/2014 a home owner has returned home to find their rear kitchen window smashed with the adjoining window left open. Unknown offender(s) have conducted an untidy search throughout the whole house and have taken some small electrical items and tobacco. Exit through back door using keys from within the house.

Incident number CC-23042014-0011 High Street, Knapwell. On the 23/04/2014 a home owner has returned home to find their rear kitchen window smashed. Unknown offender(s) have conducted an untidy search throughout the whole house and have taken a laptop and approximately £250 cash.

Incident number CC-23042014-0024 Haymans Way, Papworth Everard. Owner has left their home address on the 22/04/2014 at 14:45, they have returned the next day to find their patio door smashed. 3 Samsung Galaxy 3s tablets stolen along with a Nike bag.
