eCops: Spotting The Signs Of Child Sexual Exploitation InCambridgeshire 07/01/2015

Throughout January the force will be raising awareness of child sexual exploitation and providing information and support on this type of abuse.

The force is working in partnership with Cambridge and Peterborough Local Safe Guarding Children’s Board (LSCB) and the NSPCC to help educate the wider community, young people, parents and professionals on how to spot the signs.

Child sexual exploitation affects boys and girls from all backgrounds, some children and young people may not even be aware that it is abuse believing they are in a loving, consensual relationship.

Our website has a dedicated section providing information on:
  • Child sexual exploitation
  • How to recognise the signs
  • The force’s approach to tackling CSE
  • Myths, help and support
  • Online safety for parents and carers and much more
