Bar Hill County Council by-election this Thursday

Voters go to the polls this Thursday to elect a new Cambridgeshire County Councillor for the Bar Hill Division.

Five candidates are standing:
  • Martin John Hale – UK Independence Party (UKIP)
  • Lynda Harford – The Conservative Party Candidate 
  • Claudia Roland – The Green Party
  • Alex Smith – Labour Party Candidate
  • Fiona Elizabeth Whelan – Liberal Democrat
Polling stations in Bar Hill, Boxworth, Dry Drayton, Girton and Lolworth will be open between 7am and 10pm for eligible registered electors to cast their votes.

Two polling stations have relocated for the election. Voters in Bar Hill are being reminded to go to Bar Hill Church to cast their vote, and Girton voters should go to the Orchard Close sheltered housing communal room.

Any postal voters who have not already returned their vote can bring their completed voting pack to any polling station on the day.

  • Lolworth – Robinson Hall, High Street, Lolworth, Cambridge, CB23 8HG
