Fiona: Libraries are not a luxury!

Fiona has a real record of action on libraries. “As a mother, I’m conscious of the important role that libraries play in the lives of our younger citizens. But they are a real benefit for pensioners and other citizens too. Libraries like Bar Hill provide internet access for those who would not otherwise have it and information often otherwise unavailable after savage Tory cuts in funding to voluntary bodies like the Citizens Advice Bureau.”

Fiona as a County Councillor worked hard to keep Comberton’s library, working hand in hand with local residents to set up the volunteer structure to allow it to continue. “As your County Councillor you would find no one more experienced and more committed to public library provision.”
